Statesboro - Mrs. Grace Brannen Deal, 85, died Saturday, April 5, 2003. The native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church for 43 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Deal and four children.

Surviving are two daughters, Dolorese Smith of Statesboro and Jean Frawley of Brooklet; five sons, William L. Deal of Brooklet, Rusty Deal, and Elbert Deal, both of Statesboro, Travis Deal of Metter, and Richard Deal of Mountain Rest, SC; two brothers, Floyd Brannen of Statesboro and Pete Brannen of Brooklet; three sisters, Audi Mae Rushing and Lila Dell Freeman, both of Statesboro, and Evelyn Stripling of Savannah; 22 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church.

Burial: Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
