Galesburg- Helen M. Beilke Breitenfeld, 83, formerly of Harvard passed away on January 16, 2012, at Seminary Manor in Galesburg. She was born on December 19, 1928 in Harvard to William and Mabel (Lembcke) Beilke. She was united in marriage to Robert H. Breitenfeld on August 22, 1948. Helen was a graduate of Harvard High School and attended the University of Illinois. She was employed by National Tea in Harvard for a number of years. Helen was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was one of the original members of the Altar Guild. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. The joy of Helen’s life was her family - especially her grandchildren and her great-grandson. She enjoyed playing bridge. She and Bob also enjoyed spending their winters in Florida for 30 years. Those left to honor her memory are her daughter, Brenda (Roger) Roskens; granddaughters Lena (Josh) Muench and Anne Roskens; and great-grandson Landon Muench. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert on December 31, 2010, her parents, and her sister, Marilyn. The visitation will be from 10:15 am to 11 am, Saturday Jan. 21 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 504 E. Diggins St. Harvard. The Funeral Service will be 11am Saturday at the Church. Interment will be at Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
