The name on her headstone is Myrtle F. Aliff, but according to her marriage certificate, her name was Corbie Myrtle Holstein.

No birth record has been found for her, but the birthdate on her headstone is consistent with her age on her marriage certificate. One birth certificate was found for a Myrtle Freeda Holstein, born in Lincoln County, in 1902, but this is not currently believed to be the same person.

She married William Arthur Aliff, Sr. on May 17, 1926 in Beckley, WV. She was 16.

Their son, William Arthur Aliff, Jr., born in 1940, married Melba Frances Sauls in 1963. Melba is buried in the Miller Cemetery also.
