Funeral services for Mrs. Delle Jones, former hotel operator at Newbern who died here Friday night, will be held at the Newbern First Methodist Church at 2pm today by the Rev. JW Carnell, assisted by the Rev. WK Dickerson of Hickman KY., and the Rev. James Defoe of Dyersburg. Burial will be in Newbern City Cemetery with Holman & Son in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Jones, who recently had been residing with a son-in-law, Milton Bryant, in Memphis, had been ill for two weeks. She leaves no immediate survivors.
