Olin B. Adwell (1920 - 2012)

Olin B. Adwell, 91, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Olin was born June 27, 1920, in Grandview. He was a Mason for over 40 years and was a member of Masonic Lodge #455 in Smithfield. He worked as an inspector for Lockheed Martin for 35 years, retiring in 1985. Olin was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Grace Adwell, in 2010. Survivors: Cousin, Lee Adwell; nieces, Midge Hart and Billie Scarber; longtime caretaker and adopted daughter, Sherry Waits and husband, Shaun, and their children, Tammy Brashier and Randy Bigbee; and special dogs, Libby and Mandy.
