Charles R. Thompson, 82, of Danville died at the Yell County Hospital in Danville November 15. He was a retired sawmill machinist.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillie Thompson; one son, Bernard (Topsy) Thompson of the U. S. armed services; three daughters, Mrs. Madeline Crow of Brownsfield, Tex., Mrs. Pauline Manon of Ft. Worth, Tex. and Mrs. Imogene Handler of Los Angeles, Calif.; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
