Dorothy L. Pfefferkorn, 62, of 4018 Wagon Wheel Road, Manitowoc, died Friday morning, July 9, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. David Passet will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Pfefferkorn was born Aug. 20, 1919, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Arthur and Elsie Lehmkuhl Risch. She attended schools at Rockwood and was graduated from Washington High School, Two Rivers, with the class of 1937. She was married to Leland Pfefferkorn, Nov. 9, 1940, at Manitowoc. Mrs. Pfefferkorn worked for a time as a clerk at Johnson Hills Department Store. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, and Rockwood Homemakers.
Survivors include her husband, Leland; three sons, James Pfefferkorn and David Pfefferkorn of Manitowoc, and Thomas Pfefferkorn of Milwaukee; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Georgiane Risch, and Paul and Ethel Risch of Manitowoc; a sister-in-law, Amelia Risch of Manitowoc; an aunt, Lillian Jandre of Manitowoc, and a cousin, Carol Jandre of Manitowoc. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Risch.
Frinds may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and at the church Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
