Flora --- Graveside services were held today for Nellie May Dietz 97, 103 N. Division St., who died at 12:25 pm Sunday in Home Hospital in Lafayette. She was born Aug 8, 1889 in Carroll County to John and Martha Cohee Hinkle. She was married first to Ralph Spencer Trent, who died in 1923. She was married in 1939 to Charles Dietz who died in 1944. She was a mid-wife for several years. She worked at the Caphart Furniture factory retiring in 1955. She was a member of the Bringhurst United Methodist Church and Flora Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are three daughters, Geneva Hiatt, Gas City; Laurene Wysong Flora; Virginia Downing, Rossville; a son George Trent, West Lafayette; a brother Wayne Hinkle, Portland; a sister Ann Williams, Richmond; six grandchildren and four G. Grandchildren. Six brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Burial was in the Asbury Cemetery. Memorials contributions may be made to the Bringhurst United Methodist Church. Baker Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
