Tressie Mahan Smith, age 93, of Morrilton, passed away Monday, May 07, 2007. She was born June 13, 1913, at Bee Branch, Arkansas, a daughter of Taylor and Hattie French Mahan. Tressie was preceded in death by her husband, William Homer Smith; a son, William Robert; two sisters, Oneta Privett and Helen Black; two brothers, Jim Mahan and Jerry Mahan.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Jan Smith of Little Rock; daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Ed McDonald of North Little Rock and Ruth and Francis Johnson of Morrilton; grandchildren, Allen Johnson of Morrilton, Stephen McDonald of Maumelle, Debbie Lilley of Conway and Judy Coleman of Little Rock; seven great-grandchildren and two brothers, Dick and Bill Mahan.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at the Harris Chapel with Dr. Bill Brown officiating. Burial will be at Bee Branch Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
