AUGUSTINE, MRS. CORA O. Oshkosh, Wisconsin Age 80 Passed away March 4 (yr?) at Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh following an illness of several months. She was born in Arendahl. Norway, Feb. 7, 1870 and came to Racine with her parents Nels and Ingeborg Olson, when she was seven. After the death of her husband, Elias H. Augustine, in 1943, she moved to Oskosh where she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Carl Hennig. In Racine she was an active member of the First Methodist Church and the Royal Neighbors Lodge. Mr. and Mrs. Ausustine had formerly lived at 2031 Slauson Ave. The celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in Racine in 1942. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law Lillian and Carl Hennig of Oshkosh; one grand-daugher, Nancy Carol Hennig of Oshkosh; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Mertle of Madison; two brothers, John Olson of Racine and Charles Olson of Chicago; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2 P.M. in the Greenwood Funeral Home 1003 Fourteenth, Rev. Clarence Seidenspinner, pastor First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Mound Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 P.M. Monday and until time of services on Tuesday.
