Funeral services for Carldene "DeDee" Bones, 56, of Dialville, formerly of Texas City, will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home chapel in Jacksonville with the Rev. Jim Slocum officiating. Burial will follow at the Providence Cemetery near Jacksonville.
Mrs. Bones died Monday in Livingston, Mont. She was born Aug. 31, 1939 in Jacksonville and was raised in Jacksonville. Mrs. Bones, a homemaker, was
the daughter of Carl and Ruby Burnett (deceased) of Dialville. She resided in
Texas City for 20 years and returned to Dialville in retirement. She was a member of Rocky Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Dialville. She also was a member of the Eastem Star of La Marque, the Good Sam R.V. Club and the Dialville Sewing
Club.
She is survived by her husband, J.W. "Bill" Bones of Dialville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Terry Bones of Dialville and Dwon and Zelma Anizan of Dialville; one daughter and son-in-law, Lynece and Greg Standley of Palestine; two brothers, Dan Ray Burnett of Santa Fe and Billy Joe Bumett of Katy; two sisters, Jenny Holsomback of Lufkin and Zanetta Knesek of Sealy; five
grandchildren, B . J . Bones, Holly Banks, Shelly Cain, Brian Standley and Joseph Anizan; one great-granddaughter. Autumn Rene Cain; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Don Gregg, Mark Halsey, Bill Shreve, Wayne Bolton, Bill Beck and Chuck Darrow.
