Graveside services for Shirley L. Harred, 87, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the City of Lubbock Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.

She died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at Bender Terrace.

She was born Oct. 7, 1913, in Clarendon. She married Pindall B. Harred on Dec. 18, 1929, in Lovington, N.M. He died Feb. 3, 1998. She worked as a grocery clerk, was a former manager of school cafeterias and had been a house parent of the South Texas Children's Home in Beeville. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth of San Angelo; three daughters, Jo Ann Collier of Carlsbad, N.M., Betty Creamer of Kerrville and Mildred Pollock of Lubbock; a sister, Sylvia Dickey of Abilene; two brothers, William Ratcliff of Arlington and Douglas Ratcliff of Levelland; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
