Isabel T. Trujillo, age 50, a longtime resident of Las Vegas New Mexico passed away on Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Heart Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Isabel was born on April 27, 1961 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Damacio Martínez and Anita Roybal Martínez.
Isabel worked as an Eye Specialist at the Wal-Mart Vison Center in Las Vegas, New Mexico for the past 10 years. Isabel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Isabel was known as Auntie "Belle" to all her nieces and nephews. Isabel had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need and she had a great sense of humor. A Catholic and member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
Isabel was preceded in death by her parents, Damacio and Anita Martínez, brother, Tony Martínez and mother and father-in laws, Martha and Eloy Trujillo.
Isabel is survived by her loving husband, Peter Trujillo of the family home in Las Vegas, NM, daughter, April Trujillo and her companion, Brian Sweeten of Albuquerque, NM, sons, Peter "PJ" Trujillo and Bryan Trujillo of Las Vegas, NM, granddaughter, Kayla "Googert" Montoya of Albuquerque, NM, sisters, Francis Lucrecio, Diana Martínez and her husband, Richard Esquíbel and Dolores Gallegos and her husband, Herman both of Las Vegas, NM, brother, Andy Martínez and his wife, Elaine of Los Lunas, NM, nieces and nephews, Tony Martínez Jr. Barbara Thompson and her husband, Mark, Amanda Martínez, Victor, Eric and Jeremy Lucrecio, Patricia Lucero, Gary and Michael Esquíbel, Mark and Matthew Martínez, Maryann Sena and her husband, Gilbert, Andrew Martínez and his companion, Joyce, Valerie Ramírez and her husband, Alejandro, Samuel Martínez and his wife, Erica, brothers-in-law, Rudy Trujillo of Las Vegas, NM, Anthony Trujillo of Santa Fe, NM, Ruben Trujillo and his wife, Gloria of Albuquerque, NM and Ernie Trujillo and his companion, Patricia of Las Vegas, NM. sister-in-law, Priscilla Griñe and family of Colorado and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Rosary Services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Las Vegas, NM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father George V. Salazar as Celebrant. Interment will take place at Los Vigiles Cemetery in Los Vigiles, NM with the following serving as casket bearers, Matthew Martínez, Peter "PJ" Trujillo, Gary Esquíbel, Brian Sweeten, Victor Lucrecio and Bryan Trujillo. Serving as honorary bearers will be Herman Gallegos, Tony Martínez and Samuel Martínez.
