FORT WORTH - Albert Baker Jr., 68, a retired Air Force serviceman and meat processor for Carswell Commissary for 20 years, died Thursday at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday at East Saint Paul Baptist Church.

Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth.

Wake: 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at his church.

Mr. Baker was born April 27, 1927, in Portsmouth, Va. He was a 1943 graduate of high school and received a degree from Tarrant County Junior College.

He served in the Air Force 24 years.

Mr. Baker was a faithful member of the East Saint Paul Baptist Church.

He was also a member of the Elite Social and Charity Club and the American Legion 838 Club.

Survivors: Wife of 40 years, Mrs. Mary Baker of Fort Worth; son, Art Baker of Montgomery, Ala.; daughter, Diane Marks of Fort Worth; four sisters, Odessa Cartwright and Shirley Davenport, both of Philadelphia, Ora Piercy of Portsmouth, Va., and Alice Wallace of Seattle; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
