Sadie C. (Fields) Barlow, 82, Kokomo, passed away at 1:23 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at Sycamore Village/Golden Living Center of Kokomo. She was born Feb. 8, 1929, in Kokomo, to the late Charles and Lena (Smith) Fields. Sadie was married to Vern Barlow, and he preceded her in death.
She worked at Kingston Products for several years before retiring from Delco. Sadie always enjoyed working around her home and outdoors. Family and friends were a very important part of Sadie's life, and she enjoyed going on riverboat gambling trips with her friends as often as she could.
Sadie is the last of her immediate family, and is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Sadie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vern; and eight brothers and sisters
