She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 10, 1920 to Carl and Ella Christopherson Burton.
She married Keith Bowen Graham in the Salt Lake Temple on August 19, 1943. He passed away in 1996 after a ten-year battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Jane was a devoted caregiver to Keith during those difficult years.
Jane and Keith had two children, a daughter Patricia who lived only two days, and a son Keith, Jr. He and his wife, Toni, are the parents of five children and fourteen grandchildren.
Jane attended Highland Park Elementary, Irving Jr. High, and East High School. Her studies at the University of Utah were interrupted during World War II when she went to work as an ammunition inspector. She also worked at Bennett Glass and Paint, Wagner Bag and Prowswood Commercial Realty.
Jane is survived by many loving nieces and nephews who fondly remember her delicious homemade cakes and pies and her ever-filled brown cookie jar. She is also survived by her sister, Kathryn Burton Everett; and was preceded in death by brother, Taylor Burton; and sister, Betty Burton Stohl.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2011 in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
