Funeral services for Katherine Harred, 73, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, 2011, at Murray-Orwosky Chapel with the Rev. Charles Rawlinson and the Rev. Clyde Warner officiating.
Interment will follow in North Hopkins Cemetery with Toney Hurley, Walt Mannon, Derrick Harred, Rodney Harred, Kenny Crowson and Phillip Coleman serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Katherine Elizabeth Harred passed away on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at Carriage House Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on March 2, 1938, in Sulphur Bluff, the daughter of Johnny and Effie Jackson Neal.
She married Jimmy Harred in May of1958 in Hopkins County. He preceded her in death in 2005.
Mrs. Harred was seamstress for H.D. Lee Company. She was a member of Independence Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Charles Harred and wife, Theresa, of Sulphur Springs; one granddaughter, Maegan Harred; and one brother, W.C. "Wickie" Neal of Sulphur Springs.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, J.C. Neal.
