Ellis N. Fisher was a veteran of the Civil War Veteran serving as sergeant in Company A of the 13th Indiana Cavalry. Ellis enlisted into service as a private on January 29, 1864, and was mustered into service the same day. At the time of enlistment, Ellis was a resident of Huntington, Huntington County, Indiana. Ellis was discharged from service on November 18, 1865, at Vicksburg, Warren County, Mississippi.

Chesterton Chips.
E. N. Fisher, of Morgan township, died last Friday morning, of a stroke of paralysis. The remains were taken to Richmond for burial. Deceased was 70 years old and leaves a wife and six children.
