Newspaper article on William's death (From: Sharran Spies)
Janesville, Wis., Jan 14. 1877 - Wm. P. Ellison for several years landlord of the Myers House, in this city, and at one time proprietor of a hotel in Chicago, died yesterday at his residence, in this city, of cancer in the stomach. He has suffered intense pain during the past month. His remains will probably be taken to Chicago for interment. (I believe William is buried in Janesville, Wisconsin because His wife, Elizabeth and daughter, Clara's death records say they are buried in Janesville.)
