Survived by: His wife Margarita, six children, Juan (Gail) Aguirre, Martha (John) Perez, Genaro Aguirre Jr., Elida Cornado, Juanita Valadez and Rick Aguirre. He is further survived by eight grandchildren; Heather (Andre) Bennett, Melisa Perez, Carolyn (Dan) Perez-Pina, Kyle Nelson, Robert Valadez, Mark (Sally) Valadez, Casey Valadez, and Selena Mendoza, five great-grandchildren; Dawson, Quentin, Samantha, Angelo and Crystal, his brother Pedro Aguirre, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
