SECOR - Evelyn Ruth Lucas, 98, of Long Beach, Calif., formerly of Secor, died Sunday, Feb. 12th, 2006, at Long Beach Community Hospital.
Born Feb. 1, 1908, in Secor, Ill., to George Luther Schultz and Clara Jergens Schultz, she married James Frank Isbell . He preceded her in death. She later married Harry Lucas. He preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her siblings, Myra Schultz May, Frank Schultz and Hazel Schultz Carpenter Sisco.
Her son, DickyIsbell , preceded her in death.
Surviving are her daughter, Geri Jones of Long Beach, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006, at 2 p.m. at All Saints Church in Long Beach, Calif. Entombment will be in All Saints Columbarium. Arrangements are by All Souls Mortuary in Long Beach.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been set-up at All Saints Church in the name of the Lucas Memorial Fund. Donations can be sent to All Saints Church, 346 Termino Ave., Long Beach, CA 90803.
