Hello Pamela,
The "History of Venango County PA Her Pioneers and People", Vol I, pg 462, published Chicago by JH Beers in 1919 states that "Thomas McKee Parker, born Dec 17, 1815, married Dec. 11 1849, Margaret Woods and died June 17, 1864."
Any chance that death date on the stone could be 1886? Margaret was on the 1850 census with him and I think the middle initial is a G. Thanks for your consideration of my problem.
Kathy

until we can get a new - hopefully better picture - I will leave it as is and leave Kathy information on here too

Kathy references the history of Venango County that gives a death date of June 17, 1864. However, the death referred to is Margaret's husband, Thomas McKee Parker. No death date for Margaret is given. The sentence Kathy referenced is easy to misinterpret. Imagine it reading "Thomas McKee Parker, born Dec. 17, 1815 (married Dec. 11, 1849 to Margaret Woods), and died June 17, 1864."

Thanks
