Robert B. Goocey, 58, of 186 Vreeland Ave., died Sunday in Greater Paterson General Hospital, Wayne.

Born in Arvel, Ky., Mr. Goocey lived in Ohio before coming to Paterson. He was employed as inventory and production coordinator at Airwick Industries, Carlstadt. During Woarl War II he was a first sergeant in an Army anti-aircraft company. He was a member of the Church of the Messiah and Elmwood Park Post 5084, Veterans of Foreign Wars.

A service will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Almgren Funeral Home, 336 Broadway, by the Rev. Newell C. Grimes of the Church of the Messiah. Burial will be Thursday in Kentucky.

Surviving Mr. Goocey are his wife, the former Margit Reiner; a son, Robert B. Jr. of Middletown, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Dorothea) Zittel of Rutland, Vt.; a brother, Howard, and three sisters, Mrs. Walter Hanke, Mrs. Harold Gire and Mrs. Thomas Garrison, in Kentucky and Ohio; two grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
