This unkept, almost cave in headstone made me curios. Why only the only stone with this surname.
Alois Friedrich migrated to America, according to census records in 1899. He brought with him, his wife Anna and five children all born in Germany. William, John, Anna M., Ollie, and Wendle. They are in 1900, 1910, 1920 census in Pittsburg, Penn. He was a retired carpenter. That was his occupation on the census too. He own his own shop. He appears in the same town in 1930 census as a widow.
