Genevieve L. Miller, 93, of Sturgis, died on Saturday, December 10, 2011. She was born August 11, 1918, to Andrew and Anna (Birkland) Olson at Aneta, ND. She came to South Dakota in 1923.
She married Walter Miller at Dupree, SD, in 1936. They had three daughters, Marlene (Ivan) Kundel, Ann (Don) Dennis, and Karen Kuiken.
She is survived by her daughters, nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Frances Knutson of Rochester, MN.
She was predeceased by her husband, Walter in 2007, and one grandson in 1997.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sturgis.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 17, 2011, at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Denzel Nonhof officiating. Visitation will Thursday, December 15. A memorial has been established to the First Presbyterian Church of Sturgis. Kinkade Funeral Chapel in in charge of arrangements.
