Kenneth Duane Anderson, age 78, passed away May 18, 2009 in Nephi, Utah. He was born February 3, 1931 in Wales, Utah, to Kenneth Ephraim and Clista Jensen Anderson. He married his sweetheart, Helen Anderson, October 8, 1951, in Moroni, Utah.
He loved his wife and family, his cattle, ranch, and traveling. Duane served as Grand Marshal of the Western Ute Stampede Parade in 2008.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; six children, Hal (Elaine) Anderson, LaRee Aagard, Carolyn Baldwin, Larry (Cris) Anderson, Carl (Kerry) Anderson, Kathy (Richard) Whimpey; daughter-in-law, Pat Anderson; 28 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; sister, Leah (John) Bryner; brothers, Lynn J. (Glee) Anderson, and Boyd (Katherine) Anderson. Preceded in death by his son Brent; grandchildren, Trent Aagard and Cassidy Anderson; brother, Glen Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2009 in the Nephi 8th Ward, 222 S. 100 E. Friends and family may call Friday prior to the service at the church from 9-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.
