Mrs. Nancy Jones Dead
Had Been a Resident of Topeka for Forty Years
Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Jones, 84, died Friday at her home, 301 Liberty street. She had been a resident of Topeka since 1888. She was a member of the Oakland Christian church.
Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. Maude Heaney, of Cushing, Okla.; Mrs. Olive McMillan and Mrs. Mattie Brownlee, of Topeka; a son, M.A. Jones, of Topeka; a sister, Mrs. Anna George, of Delia; a brother, Alvin G. Brewer, of Watsonville, Calif.; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Penwell's chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery.
