Nancy E. (Norton) Niland, 79, of Taunton, formerly of Easton and Bonita Springs, FL., died Sunday evening, December 4, 2011 at home under the loving care of her family. She was the wife of the late George H. Niland. Born in Boston on April 13,1932, a daughter of the late William and Helen (O'Toole) Norton, she was raised in Hyde Park and was a graduate of Mission High School. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother she devoted her life to her family. Nancy found great joy in creating a warm and loving home where friends and family often gathered. She was an avid sports fan who enjoyed traveling with her husband. Nancy was a resident of Easton for 50 years prior to moving to Taunton 10 years ago. She would spend her winters in Bonita Springs, FL. She is survived by her 11 children, a sister, and 32 grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Shirley Chamberlain.
