JOHNSTON - Claborne Alonzo "Lonnie" Ripley, 69, 917 Lee St., husband of Lucille Brady Ripley, died Friday.
Born in Charleston, he was an automotive dealer in Washington, D.C. for 30 years.
Surviving also are a daughter, Cheryl Tamison Ripley of Seattle, Wash.; sons, Phillip Hughes Ripley of Annandale, Va., Caroll Nelson Rtpley of Gaithersburg, Md. and Clayborne Kent Ripley of San Jose, Calif.; a sister, Frances Kesmodel of Baltimore, Md.; brothers, Lewis Ripley of Wilmington, Del. and Harry Ripley of Ft. Myers, Fla.; five grandchildren.
Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Clark-Bland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Philippi Cemetery.
