Son of William Collins Boster, Sr. and Sarah "Sallie" Duke Schell. He married Myrtle Lucille Browning April 11, 1925 in Jackson County, Missouri and they had three children, Donald Roderick (1926 - 2003), Beverly Jean (1928 - 2001) and Maureen Loree (1929 - 1997). He and Velma Horner applied for a marriage license Nov. 5, 1932 in Jackson County, Missouri. Later he moved to Texas where he married Mary Nell Kennedy; and they had 4 children which they raised near Ft. Worth, Texas. His headstone states "Sr" even though he was really "Jr".
