Sonya L. Snyder, 67, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday at Iroquois Nursing Home. Born in Syracuse, she received her BA from LeMoyne College and her MA from SUNY Albany. She was a librarian at CBA for 16 years, retiring in 2004. Sonya was a member of the Sports Car Club of America and the Red Hat Society, Fayetteville chapter.
Survivors: A daughter, Allison (John) Teachout of Skaneateles; a son, Nathan Snyder of Fayetteville; a sister, Dolores LaMay of Fayetteville; and three grandchildren, Alexis, Kyle and Megan Teachout.
Funeral Services: 9:15 a.m. Thursday from Eaton-Tubbs- Schepp Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, DeWitt. Burial in St. Agnes Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville.
