Mrs. Rosalind Barr, widow of Archie Barr, of Jackson Township,and a life-long resident of Stone Valley, died at her home on
Sunday, December 11, 1949, at 11:32 p. m., after an illness of one day. She was born on April 9, 1880. in Jackson Township, a daughter of Stewart Bickett and Jane Watt Bickett, both deceased. The deceased was united in marriage to Archie Barr in August 1905. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church at Mc Alevys Fort and of the Missionary Society of that church. Mrs. Barr was also a member of the Stone Valley W. C. T. U. Her husband preceded her in death in December 1927.
Surviving are four children:Eleanor {Mrs. Bruce White) of Huntingdon, R. D.; Hazel (Mrs. Harry Williams)of Aliquippa; Miss
Esther Barr of Huntingdon, R. D.2; Florence (Mrs. Wilbur Smith) of Middletown. Two sisters, Mrs. Ella Clark of Jacksonville, Florida, and Mrs. Leora Wise of Altoona, and three brothers, Wilbur Bickett of Dover, Del., Edward Bickett of Altoona and Clarence Bickett of Petersburg. R. D.. and nine grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held on
Wednesday at 2:30 p. m. at the United Presbyterian Church at McAlevys Fort. Burial will be made in the Presbyterian Cemetery at McAlevys Fort. Friends may call at her Jate home after 12 noon on Tuesday. Temple's funeral service,Petersburg.
