George W. Booe was the son of William Booe (c1795-???) and Sarah Wellman (???-???), who married 21 Oct 1833 (or 31 Oct 1832?) at Rowan County, North Carolina.
George married Sallie A. March (or Bessent?) (1848-1875) on 26 Sep 1875 in Davie county, North Carolina. George and Sallie were the parents of five known children, namely:
1. Ann _______ Booe (???-???)
2. George _______ Booe (???-1867)
3. Jake _______ Booe (???-???)
4. Mamie _______ Booe (1866-???)
5. William Hawkins Booe (1872-1951)
Note that if George and Sallie married in 1875 she probably wasn't the mother of the above children. In 1870 George and a Nancy (age 31, born NC) were living at Clarksville, Davie County, North Carolina with two children, Mary Andleton (Anderton?) (age 12) and Benja More (age 16).
After Sallie died, George remarried to Antoinette (went by Nettie) Olivia Rights (1857-1884) on 26 Dec 1877 at Forsyth County, North Carolina. George and Nettie were the parents of one known child, namely:
6. Anna V. Booe Mock 1879-1961)
