Breunig, Anna
ROXBURY - Anna Breunig, age 83 of Roxbury died on Tuesday, May 30, 1978 at the Waunakee Manor Health Care Center after an extended illness. The former Anna Michels was born on February 13, 1895 and had resided in the Roxbury area most of her life. Her husband, Edmund L. Breunig died on February 17, 1967. She was a member of St. Norbert's Catholic Church, Roxbury. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. James (Doris) Frederichs; three sisters, Mrs. Paulina Esser, and Josephine Michels, both of Madison, Mary Michels, Verona; a brother Nick Michels, Verona; five grandchildren; and a greatgrandson. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 2 at the GRUBER-ELLESTAD SAUK PRAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 270 Oak St., Prairie du Sac and at ST. NORBERT'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Roxbury, Father William Stack will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
