Suggested edit: They were accustomed to having their names mis-spelled? One Census showed her as "Rossella", likely a "sound-it-out" of her name as spoken in a parent's dialect, the "s" soft, not sounding like a "Z"". Her sister nearest in age was Frances (a variation of Francesca), not to be confused with male neighbors called Francis (a variation of Franciscus).

Frances and Rosalia would share a double wedding ceremony in 1936, apparently in the winter, as the wedding party arrived by bobsled (notice in the Kossuth County Press, archived by a volunteer at GeneaogyTrails.com). The setting would have been pretty. The otherwise small and modest white frame church at the tiny place of St Benedict had lovely stained glass windows with donors' family names attached. White castle-like carvings furnished the front area where their priests once said Mass, facing the choir in the loft above, singing having been popular among the Germans and others sharing the church. Those things are now dismantled, the church fixings and records sent to St Cecelia in Algona (Sioux City diocese).

"Frances and Rosalia Kellner, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. John Kellner near St. Benedict, became the brides of Harold Godfredson and George Ama respectively, both of Titonka, at St. Benedict church last Tuesday morning, after a bobsled and team had drawn the bridal party across snow covered fields to the church for the double ceremony."

"The brides wore white silk crepe gowns and white accessories with trailing veils."
