Thelma Farnsworth Priday, beloved wife, mother, and church leader, died 20 November 2011 in American Fork.

She was born 11 August 1920 in Beaver, UT, the oldest child of Taylor and Kathleen Farnsworth. She graduated from Beaver High School and BYU, where she was Associated Women's President.

She taught school in American Fork and met Leland Priday. They married on 15 July 1942 in the St. George Temple. They have eight children: Kaye (Lonnie) Nally, Gene (Andrea) Priday, Loalee (Wayne) Miller, Janet (Larry) Peer, Carolyn (Tom) Mildenhall, Tom (Marva) Priday, Brent (Marian) Priday, and Bruce (Diane) Priday. They have forty-three grandchildren, 110 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, Anna (Normand) Birtcher, Effie (Alfred) Yazzie, and Maricruz Noya foster daughters.

Thelma loved music and accompanied musical numbers throughout her life. She also played the french horn and organ. She loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

A faithful member of the LDS Church, she served in all the auxiliaries and worked in the Church Curriculum Department. She served with her husband at the Missouri Independence Visitor's Center and as Matron of the Provo Temple. She loves her family dearly.

She is preceded in death by her husband, one sister, Barbara (Max) Robinson, and two brothers, Dean (Miriam) and Alan (Bobbie). Surviving brothers are Bill (Rhonda), Karl (Jackie), and Lynn (Mary).

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 26 November 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork Central Stake Center, 300 North 100 East. Viewings will be held on Friday, 25 November 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, and Saturday from 9:45-10:45 a.m.
Interment will be in the American Fork Cemetery.
