Thelma Purvis Anderson,79,died Friday at Meadows Memorial Hospital in Vidalia after a long illness.
The Tattnall County native was a member of Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Laven McClelland of Ellabell and Mrs. Grace Baker of Glennville, a son, Sam Anderson of Glennville, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Rimes Mortuary Chapel with burial in the church cemetery.
