Martin H. Adams died August 25 in a local hospital and funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the White Memorial Chapel with interment in Lassen cemetery.
He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War in which he served as a lieutenant. A native of Illinois, 8 years old, he had resided in this community for 30 years. At the time of his death he was living with his nephew, Erwin Adams.
He is survived by his wife, Aneta Adams, judge of the eighth district court of appeals, Sacramento; a brother, Charles L. Adams, Susanville, and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Houston, Chicago.
