Aline S. Joyce, 87, of Dalton, passed away Saturday, Nov.19, 2011 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur James Joyce; parents, A.J. and Lucy Satterfield; a sister, Alwayne Welch; and brothers, Herschel Satterfield and Charlie Satterfield.
Ms. Joyce was a member of Fellowship Bible Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John and Lis Joyce of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dimple and Wimp Burnette of Dalton, and Delane and Harold Fisher of Nashville, Tenn.; brothers and sisters-in-law, C.L. and Christine Satterfield of Chatsworth, and Howard and Shirley Satterfield of Dalton; grandchildren, Maaika Joyce and Philip Joyce; nieces and nephews also survive.
A funeral to celebrate the life of Ms. Joyce will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Fellowship Bible Church with Rev. Jim Suddath officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Fellowship Bible Church for the Fulani Bible School.
