"At Enid (Oklahoma) April 11, (1931) occured the marriage of Miss Minnie Blanka of this community to Mr. Virgil Mitchell, of Arapaho, Colorado.
"These young people are well known in this community and their host of friends join the Record in wishing them a long and prosperous wedded life."

Virgil V. Mitchell 1911-2011
Funeral services for Virgil V. Mitchell, Arapaho Colo., farmer, took place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011 at the Arapahoe Community Church in Arapahoe, Colo.
Visitation took place from 1-5 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Nov. 18 at Brown Funeral Home in Cheyenne Wells.
Burial took place at Arapahoe Cemetery in Arapahoe.
Virgil was born Aug. 27, 1911 in Eagle City, Okla., and died Nov. 15, 2011 in Windsor, Colo.

Virgil is survived by his children, Gerald (Diane) Mitchell of Arapahoe and Ronnie (Theresa) Mitchell of Rifle, Colo. Virgil is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Minnie Mitchell, three sisters and one brother.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren as well as his brother, Clement (Shirley) Mitchell of Arapahoe and many other family and friends....
Brown Funeral Home in Cheyenne Wells is in charge of arrangements.
