According to Southwest Louisiana Records 1750-1900 CD by Rev. Donald J. Hebert he was actually born 8 Sep 1839 and baptized at St. Martinville: ALLEMAND, Louis Homere (Balthazard & Claire TRAHAN) b. 8 Sept. 1839 (SM Ch.: v.8, #1590)
He married three times:
1.Married Marie Octavine Lopez on 16 July 1860 at the Catholic Church in St. Martinville, LA. She died 16 Feb. 1865.
2. Married civilly Marie Azelie Doguet on 3 October 1866 at Opelousas Ct. Hse., LA.
3. Married Eleanore Blanchard: on 30 April 1883 at the Catholic Church in Rayne, LA. Although they had five of their seven known children between 1866 and 1879.
