Lois Marie Boley, 61, died Oct. 10, 2009, at her home in rural Sikeston.
Born July 19, 1948, in Paradise Valley, daughter of the late Robert and Vila Mae Spillman Hess, she had been a cook and waitress for the Grant City Lounge 13 years before retiring. She was of the Baptist belief.
Also preceding her in death were two sons, Jerry Boley and A.B. Boley Jr., two brothers, Gary Hess and Dennis Ray Hess, and four sisters, Brenda Wright, Debbie Denring, Barbara Hess and Bonnie Mae Hess.
Survivors include: four sons, Randy Boley, Mark Boley, Terry Boley, and Kenny Hess; four daughters, Carolyn Boley, Daisy Bolt, Treasa Boley and Letita Miller; longtime companion, James Bowen; three brothers, Dearl Hess, Hugh Hess and Steven Hess; three sisters, Sandy McCall, Janet Firebough and Donna Johnson; and 20 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services were conducted at the Ponder Funeral Home. The Rev. Randy Thomas, pastor of Morehouse General Baptist Church, officiated.
Burial followed in the Forrest Hills Cemetery at Morley.
