Thomas or Tom was a farmer and married Margaret 'Peggy' L. Mann in 1870, they had several children,
Children: William Calvin, Charles E., W. Mary, Roxianna Elizabeth (Rogers), and Elara Samantha (who married James Martin Forrester).

Thomas married Harriet Ann Puett, March 24 1890, Towns, Georgia. Their children were Grace Pearl b. 1885( not known who her father was), Henry Lee, Myrtle Loretta, John M*, May, Oliver Benton, and Frank J.

(The 1910 census indicates it is his second marriage and Harriet's first.)

(Note: his middle initial G. may stand for Griggs, the maiden name of his paternal grandmother)
