MARION - Ethel Campbell Baine, 78, died Saturday in a Marion hospital.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today in Marion Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Richardson Funeral Home, will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Bane was born in Marion [now Dillon] County, a daughter of Leon Campbell and George Weatherford Campbell. She was a member of Marion Baptist Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Curtis Doggette of Asheville, N.C., Mrs. Boyd Atkinson, Mrs. L. C. Hewitt and Mrs. Edwin Brown, all of Marion; four sons, Robert R. Baine Jr. of Columbia, D. W. Baine of Winston-Salem, N.C., Gerald C. Baine of Goldsboro, N.C. and Richard W. Baine of Raleigh, N.C.; four sisters, Mrs. C. C. Henby of Wilmington, N.C., Mrs. Chester Skeens of Florence, Mrs. E. J. Rowan of Latta and Mrs. S. W. Dozier of Charlotte, N.C.; two brothers, Leon C. Campbell of Columbia and George L. Campbell of Easley; 25 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
