Cecil Earl Allen was born August 31, 1920 in Waldron, Scott Country, Arkansas. He was the first born of three to Martha Ellen Miller and Jeffrey Lee Allen.
Cecil married Ellen Alletta Blevins on December 20, 1940, in New Mexico. Together they had three children: Tommy Cecil, September 18, 1941; Nancy Ellen, February 18, 1943 –September 6, 2012 and Earl Junior, July 2, 1953.
During WWII Cecil served in the Army. He saw combat in the Southern Pacific Theater. After serving, Cecil returned to New Mexico where he worked in the logging industry for the next 40 years.
Cecil enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an active member of the Church of Christ. During retirement he and Alletta traveled in their 5th wheel, finally settling down in T or C, New Mexico.
After Alletta passed in October 2001, Cecil moved to Houston, Harris Country, Texas, where he lived with family. Cecil passed on October 10, 2003.
