The death of Jean Winifred Elizabeth (nee Attwood) Belding of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late H. James C. Belding, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday, September 15th, 2011.

Born in Chiswick, England she was the daughter of the late Bertie and Ellen (Stevens) Attwood.

Jean was retired from J.W. Bird & Co., and was a longtime member of Christ Church Cathedral, Fredericton, Celestial Chapter #3 Order of the Eastern Star, The Fredericton War Brides and the Fredericton Lawn Bowlers Club.

She is survived by her two daughters, Karen J. Moulinie (Raoul) of Montreal, QC and Elizabeth E. Belding - Roe (Gaylon) of Keswick Ridge, NB; three grandchildren, Christian Siaud (Tammy) of Montreal, QC, Julie Jenkins (Todd) of Keswick Ridge, NB, and Pierre Moulinie (Dina) of Pittsburgh, PA; four great-grandchildren, Arielle Moulinie, Nicholas Moulinie, Dylan Siaud, and Ryan Siaud.

A memorial service took place at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel, 160 York Street, on Monday, September 19th, 2011 at 11 AM with The Very Rev. Keith Joyce officiating. Interment in the Forest Hill Cemetery Field of Honor. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to McAdam's Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton, NB.
