Vaughn was a great friend of mine, he was my first friend when I moved to Florida back in 1972. He owned the local bait and tackle shop, and I used to buy my bait from him. He told me he was a West Virginia hillbilly, and if you ever had the pleasure of hearing his stories you'd know it was true. Oh and that man could tell some yarns, I still remember alot of his stories to this day. He watched me grow up and offered me some advice along the way, he was a great friend and I miss him terribly; he was survived by his wife Ruby.
