Bill was son of Charles G. Garlick and Harriet Fawver. He married 8 Dec 1892 in Wright Co. to Mariar Oliver. He moved here with his family from Logan County, Ohio. The rest went on to Creek Co. OK, leaving only Bill and his sister Anna Maria Dear's families in MO. He was a farmer by trade. Bill and Mariar were parents of daughters Lillie Curtis and Etolia Fletcher, and one son Matthias who died at age 10. Bill Garlick went to live with his daughter Lillie Curtis in Sapulpa, Oklahoma for his last 13 months. Etolia was then living in Cresent City California, but she came to Oklahoma to be with Bill when he died.
