Mrs. Annie Greenland of 211 Spruce Street, Huntingdon, widow of Edwin B. Greenland, died in the J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital on Saturday, September 17, 1949, at 9:35 p. m. She had been in failing health for several years. Mrs. Greenland was a daughter of John and Louisa (Horton) Taylor and was born in Trough Creek Valley on November 5, 1870. She was married to Edwin B. Greenland on June 25, 1898. Mr. Greenland preceded her in death in 1928.
Surviving are one son and one daughter, John Greenland and Mrs. John Yocum, both of South Huntingdon. Three sisters and one brother: Mrs. Clarissa Taylor of Pleasant Unity, Mrs. Oscar Wilson of Hendricks, W. Va., Mrs. Oscar Hafbaugh and Hayes Taylor, both of Calvin, also survive. The deceased was a member of the Trough Creek Valley Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'-clock at the Trough Creek Valley
Baptist Church. Due to the recent death of her pastor, Elder H. H. Lefferts, the Rev. Bruce R. Cleaver will officiate. Interment will be made in the Trough Creek Valley Baptist Cemetery. Friends are being received at the McClain funeral home at Cassville until noon on Tuesday when the body will be taken to the church.
