Violet Berryman, 85, Fort Wayne, formerly of Peru, died at 7:53 a.m. Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
She was born in Utica Sept. 14, 1925 to Joseph and Ruth May (Lewis) Worthington. She was married to Lowell Berryman in 1986, and he survives.
Violet was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Lowell Berryman; her sons, Robert (Marilyn) Cleveland, Peru, and Bruce Berryman, Pittsboro; and her daughters, Sharon (Dallas) Day, Fort Wayne, and Susan Confer, Roann. Also surviving are a brother, a sister, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 W. Third Street, with Donald and John Cleveland officiating.
Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Cass County.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
